Abstract: 

Applying Adomian decomposition METHOD to damped forced oscillator, gives a polynomial as the approximate solution of the problem if the excitation term replaced with its Taylor series around the initial value point. In this paper, we use the interpolation of this term at the required interval in spite of its Taylor series. The numerical results show that the METHOD at identical conditions gives more suitable solutions.

Abstract: 

In Adomian's decomposition METHOD the Taylor series of any function of independent variable in the equation around the initial point of the required interval uses to obtain the solution of differential equation as a polynomial. This causes that the solution become inaccurate at the end of the interval. In this paper two METHODs are introduced to resolve this problem and are examined through numerical examples.

Abstract: 

This paper concerns with some special approximate METHODs in order to solve the system of ORDINARY and the fractional integro-differential  equations. The approach that we use begins by a METHOD of converting the fractional integro-differential equations into an integral equation including both Volterra and the Fredholm parts. Then a specific successive approximation technique is  applied to the Volterra part. Due to the presence of the factorial factor in the denominator of its kernel, the Volterra part tends to zero in the next iterations, leading us to discard the Volterra's sentence as an error of the  METHOD that we use. The analytical-approximate solution to the problem is then obtained by solving the resulting equation, as a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind. This METHOD is applied to the boundary value problems in two distinct cases involving system of ORDINARY and fractional differential equations.

Abstract: 

This paper deals with the solutions of boundary value problems based on the converting differential equation with boundary conditions to a mixed Voletrra and Fredholm integral equation, then, we will use the special case of successive approximations METHOD for solving obtained equation. Convergence analysis and error estimate is discussed, also, a numerical example is presented to demonstrate the accuracy of the proposed technique.

Abstract: 

Situ concrete piles, the most widely used type of deep foundation. In Iran experience shows, that technical problems and economic performance by avoiding the use of ORDINARY concrete with a slump an extremely high in these types of candles. Poor and low compress resistance, durability and high penetrate the subsurface environment, the effects of this type of concrete planning. The excellent strength, permeability to ensure proper compaction, concrete ease and speed up the planning run, the significant advantages of self-compacting concrete. These benefits are especially situ concrete pile planning, most appear to be. In This paper compares core strength situ by taking samples from two typical arrangement of pile ORDINARY and self-compacting concrete and important results have been obtained. The core samples, to a depth of 14 m in which different levels of ground benchmark are tested. Show that the use of self-compacting concrete technical advantages, economic and administrative notable and lead to greater uniformity in resistance acquisition, located in the upper part of the pile is. This section, the maximum stresses due to vertical and lateral loads. Therefore, the use of self-compacting concrete in deep foundations, can widely replace traditional METHODs.

Abstract: 

In the recent years, attempts have been made to upgrade existing RC ORDINARY Moment Resisting Frames (OMRF) into Ductile Moment Resisting Frame (DMRF). In practice, this can be implemented by controlling the plastic hinges locations. This paper presents the results of an experimental study performed to evaluate the ability of CFRP sheets in preventing the plastic hinge formation at the face of the column in exterior RC joints. Five plain/CFRP-retrofitted scaled-down joints of a typical OMRF were tested under monotonic/cyclic loads to failure. The results show that carbon fibre can effectively relocate the plastic hinge away from the column face.

Abstract: 

مقدمه و هدف: در این مقاله دو روش آموزشی تحت عناوین Case Study ,Case METHOD به عنوان تکنیکهای آموزشی مورد بررسی و نقد قرار گرفته و تفاوتها و شباهتهای هر کدام به طور جداگانه بررسی شده است و نکات کاربردی هر روش در آموزش پرستاری مورد بحث قرار گرفته است.مرور مطالعات: در این مقاله ابتدا تعاریف دو نوع متد آموزشی ارایه گردیده و سپس موارد استفاده از هر متد به طور جداگانه بحث شده است، و با توجه به ماهیت آموزش پرستاری ایران پیشنهادات کاربردی در این زمینه ارایه شده است. Case METHOD در گروههای آموزشی کوچکتر که مشاهدات ذهنی کمتری دارند و در ابتدای تجربه می باشند استفاده می شود. ولی Case Study در گروههای آموزشی بزرگتر که مشاهدات ذهنی بیشتری دارند و قدرت تجزیه و ترکیب و رشد بحث در آنها بیشتر می باشد استفاده می شود. از ویژگیهای مهم آنها می توان به افزایش قدرت تصمیم گیری افراد در موقعیتهای مختلف، لذتبخش تر کردن آموزش و علاقمند کردن به امر تدریس و ... نام برد.بحث و نتیجه گیری: با توجه به یافته های پژوهش و با توجه به محتوی برنامه های آموزشی پرستاری، محقق استفاده از روشهای Case Study ,Case METHOD را برای دانشجویان پرستاری توصیه می نماید. زیرا بهترین آموزش یادگیرنده ها زمانی مطرح می باشد که دانش هماهنگ و متنوع مهارتهای آموزشی با تجربیات در کنار هم می باشد.

Abstract: 

A great deal of research has been conducted on the performance of granular columns under vertical loads. However, in some situations, the movement of the soil mass can lead to lateral deformations and, as a result, shear stresses in the soil and columns. The primary objective of the present study is to numerically investigate the shear performance of soft clay soil improved with a single ORDINARY Granular Column (OGC) in the direct shear test using a hybrid Discrete Element-Finite Difference METHOD (DEM-FDM). The numerical modeling METHOD was first validated by simulating a direct shear test conducted previously on a soft clay-OGC composite in the laboratory. Afterward, an extensive parametric study was conducted to determine how various factors affect the shear strength of clay-OGC composites. According to the results, increasing the area replacement ratio from 15 to 35% can increase the peak shear strength of clay-OGC composites in the direct shear test by up to two times, depending on the level of applied normal stress. The micro-scale results also indicated that the surface roughness of soil particles in OGC has a greater effect on the shear strength of clay-OGC composites than their angularity. Furthermore, the results showed that the equivalent friction angle of clay-OGC composites should be calculated based on the residual friction angle of granular soil used in OGC.

Abstract: 

Background: There is no doubt that education has an important role in developing and promoting student's creative ability. Creativity is an equivalent for divergent production based on Guilford's theory. He was the first one to propose the concept of creativity in psychology. He believed divergent production is the main characteristic of creativity. Divergent production is one of the basic concepts of operation in Guilford's cognitive abilities structure and was used in evaluating the educational training by Meeker. Meeker provided subscales for assessing divergent production abilities. She also designed educational packages to strengthen and improve those abilities. These packages are used in institution of Meeker's cognitive abilities structure located in Los Angeles, USA. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of creativity training based on Meeker's METHOD on the divergent production rate of junior high school students of Ilam, Iran.METHODs: Statistical population consisted of boys and girls in first and second grade of junior high school of Ilam, Iran in 2010-2011. Subjects were selected from 402 first and second grade junior high school students from two gifted and governmental schools. Semi-experimental study, pre-test and posttest with control group were conducted. From each school four classes were randomly selected and assigned to control and experimental group. Experimental group received 36 hours training and posttest was performed for both groups to compare the differences. The data gathering tool was Meeker's divergent production subscales.Findings: There was a significant difference between experimental and control groups regarding divergent production subscales, semantic units and symbolic relationships. The results also indicated that there was no significant difference between gifted and ORDINARY students regarding creativity.Conclusion: The results of this study emphasized the importance of improving creativity among students based on Meeker's educational packages.
